Orion Science Center

The Orion Science Center and Planetarium, Hwy 5 one mile South of Camdenton, Missouri, focuses on space, astronomy, biology, physics, paleontology, Native Americans and Dinosaurs.

There is an activity area for kids and the Dinospace Adventure Fun Park with a water-balloon Slingasaurus, a Liftasaurus where kids can escape the dinosaurs and ride the Pterodactyl Glide zip line and much more.

Open year round
Admission is $6.00 per person

Camden County Museum

The Camden County Museum is located in the old Linn Creek School, built in 1930 on Route V just off Hwy 54. Each classroom is its own mini-museum, focusing on a particular subject  to the history in Camden county.

Open to the public from April to October.   Monday through Friday  
Time 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Miller County Museum

The Miller County Museum on West Hwy 52, is in the former Anchor Mill building in Tuscumbia.  The museum offers an overview of pioneer life in the Ozarks.  Also on the museum property are two authentic log cabins.

Open to the public Mid May through Mid-September, Mon, Wed and Fri

Morgan County Museum

The landmark Martin Hotel in Versailles is home to the Morgan County Museum. Its 28 rooms are packed with so many antiques, artifacts and Martin memorabilia it will take a full day to see the entire collection.

The Willmore Lodge is located just Northeast of Bagnell Dam on Business 54, this historic log building was completed in 1930 by the Union Electric Company(now Ameren UE). It served as an administrative and entertainment center for the mammoth project, an endeavor of such magnitude that it destroyed or displaced five towns, created a man-made lake with a shoreline rivaling Lake Michigan's in length.

The 6,500 square-foot building is two story, 29 room structure built of western pine.  Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the building houses the Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, a cultural activities center and the museum.
From the look outs you can see this majestic lake and all the beauty it beholds.
