Oma and Noma Days Festival
Step back in time as the city and the Dam celebrate the first crossing of Bagnell Dam by Oma and Noma Degraffenreid in 1931. Dress in era style clothing and enjoy and old fashioned festival with events such as outhouse racing, with frog jumping, watermelon seed spiting, pie eating contests to name a few. Dam Tours will be offered on Saturday only from 9:00 a.m. with the last tour at 3:30 p.m.. Tours will last one half hour each. The tour will require moderate activity with some steps required.
